Hiya bookish people!

Edit: This post was supposed to go up on the 27th, according to the blog tour schedule but I effed up my code a bit, so I’m sorry this is showing up late!

I am extremely honoured to introduce to everyone, the Diamond Village! Aditi has been putting so much work, along with everyone else, into this amazing site and I can’t wait to see all of you following this site soon! Yes, that is a demand. Go follow it, now! A huge special shoutout to Mukta, who did all of the design for TDV and has done an amazing job at it, too! The rest of the team are El, Ash and Ju, and I expect you guys to be following them, too!

The Diamond Village is a fantasy-themed blog with a storyline and interactive, adorable characters who strive to put a smile on your face whenever we can! Our storyline shows how our characters progress through their lives in the bright Village, the challenges they face, but, most importantly, how they overcome them with kindness and intelligence.

The Diamond Village

I’m going to be introducing my character within the village, Sybil!

Sybil, the Lorekeeper or Recordkeeper, keeps us all up-to-date on the goings on in the Village. Her telaesthesic powers (the ability to see what’s going on in other parts of the world) keep the Villagers up to date on what’s happening everywhere else. Grab your popcorn and get ready for a wild ride! Sybil’s interests range from old newspapers to straw baskets to strawberries. She covers anything you need to know on news, representation, information and opinions, so expect a lot of thought provoking discussions!

Here is a small Q and A with Sybil!

What is your favourite color?

  • Hello there, friends! Thank you so much for having me here? My favourite color? Oh, well, it really depends on what mood I am in, but at any given time I will love the color green. The shade and tone of it may differ, but green is my go-to color. The forests are green, and so are the gardens where we grow crops and flowers in the village!

What is your Hogwarts house?

  • Oh yay! I love getting asked this question! I am a very proud Slytherin. And before you make the assumption, I’m not evil, I swear! I am ambitious and love thinking my way out of things, but I have to admit my ambition does get me in a pickle some times.

What is your daily routine?

  • I start off with reading another chapter of one of the books nearest to me, and then I tend to have a look at what’s going on in the world – with my telaesthesic powers that is. Then I have a hot drink and sit down to watch everyone start with their day in the village. And from there, I go wherever my heart wants to at the time, or wherever I’m needed. To finish the day, I once again have a hot drink and sit down with a book outside, letting the last of the day’s light time my reading. Then, I watch the stars and do a final checkup of the world, and then it’s off to bed!

    1. Says you!
I wanted to give her the Slytherin characteristics, I feel like just because she is a happy and calm person doesn’t mean she can’t be super ambitious and cunning!
